Pre-spinodal thermal decomposition of condensed matter

  • O. F. Shlenskii

It is proposed that contact methods of thermal analysis (print and application methods, sputtering) be used to study thermal decomposition and determine the allowable superheating of explosives. Experimental data on allowable superheating is presented for certain explosives.
