Conclusions

  1. 1.

Tests have been carried out for ignition of substances N and NCL, and derivation of dependence Ts(t) over a wide range of change in the density of igniting flows and external pressure. It has been shown that ignition characteristics for substance N with p=1–65 atm do not depend on pressure.

  2. 2.

A procedure is suggested and substantiated for calculating function parameters for heart release from dependence Ts(t) with ignition of a condensed substance by a heat flow of constant density.

  3. 3.

The correctness of the procedure for calculating E and Qk0 has been demonstrated on the example of applying the procedure to a theoretical curve both by comparing parameters established in calculating the curve with those obtained in treating curve Ts(t) by the method suggested, and comparison of the original curve with that established from the parameters found.

  4. 4.

Values E and Qk0 have been determined for substances N and NCL over a wide temperature range. They are in good agreement with those known in the literature. Experimental values and those calculated by the parameters found for dependence Ts(t) have been compared. It has been shown that calculated ignition times in this case are in good agreement with those determined by experiment.
