Summary
The preparation of crystals of double borates of calcium, strontium, and barium of the type K2O·MeO· ·4B2O3·aq is described. Crystals of potassium-calcium, potassium-strontium, and potassium-barium octaborates are isomorphous and belong to the rhombic-bipyramidal class of the rhombic system. The simple crystal forms, cell constants, and densities of the three octaborates were determined.
