Optimization of chromatography with fluorescent indicators

  • Published:
Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

A novel column type which offers advantages over telescopic columns is proposed for chromatography with fluorescent indicators.

  2. 2.

The sharpness of the separation of the components is improved by the use of ACM silicagel in the size range 0.074–0.147 mm, and by addition of a small amount of fractions in the size range below 0.074 mm. Silicagel can be activated by treatment with hot water.
