Conclusions
-
1.
The possibility of using a combination model for the description of the nonhomogeneous structure of the liquid flow on bubble trays has been examined.
-
2.
A theoretical integral residence-time distribution has been found to describe the combination model adopted.
-
3.
A method has been proposed for determining the parameters of the combination model.
-
4.
The combination model adopted interprets well the experimental data and can be recommended for description of the structure of the flows in industrial apparatus.
