Conclusions
-
1.
The isomerization of low-melting paraffin in the presence of an industrial platinum platforming catalyst has been investigated.
-
2.
At 440°C and volume rate of 1 hour−1, the yield of isoparaffinic hydrocarbons (fraction 220°C and above) amounts to 54.8% on the paraffin used, while the selectivity of the process is 76,5 weight %.
-
3.
At 460°C the yield of the isoparaffinic hydrocarbon fraction (150–300°C) with a hardening temperature of −67°C amounts to 57.8 weight% on the paraffin used.
