Abstract
The increased thermal conductivity below Tc in YBa2Cu3O7−x (YBCO) is shown to agree with the microwave electrical conductivity, affirming that increase is due to quasiparticle conduction The field dependence, particularly in the conducting plane permits us to separate phonon and quasiparticle contributions for both YBCO and Tℓ2Ba2CuO6 single crystals.
