Some problems in the mathematical description of the hydrocracking process

  • Published:
Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1)

It is proposed to determine the distillation curves for petroleum fractions by approximating them by some function of the distribution.

  2. 2)

A concrete form of the approximation is proposed, in the form of a normal distribution which, by reason of the simplicity of the function and the clear physical meaning of its parameters, insures its accuracy.
