Continuous manufacture of lithium lubricating greases

  • Published:
Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

It is shown that a continuous plant can be used to manufacture TsIATIM-201 grease from a soap-oil dispersion with stiffener content 12%.

  2. 2.

It has been established that the properties of the grease are greatly affected by the alkali content, the discharge temperature of the fused system from the heater, and the homogenization conditions. It is shown that the manufacture of greases meeting GOST requirements requires strict control.
