Conclusions

  1. 1.

During isothermal soaking there is precipitation and then coalescence of strengthening γ′-phase from alloy KhN62BMKTYu supersaturated solid solution. The curve for isothermal decomposition of supersaturated solid solution has an S-shaped form. The kinetics for γ'-phase particle growth are described by the equation d = kτ1/3, where k is growth rate coefficient, τ is soaking time.

  2. 2.

Loss of strength for alloy KhN62BMKTYu commences at 800°C.
