Investigation of dust collection systems in fluid-bed vessels

  • Published:
Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils Aims and scope

Conclusions

  1. 1.

A number of variants of cyclone arrangements have been investigated in a cold model of a fluid-bed unit.

  2. 2.

Optimal variants have been selected in combinations of cyclones to give a high and stable level of cleanup efficiency within fluid-bed vessels.

  3. 3.

One of the optimal variants in cyclone groupings has been evaluated in a commercial test unit. Good results were obtained with respect to dust collection efficiency.
