Course of decomposition reactions in process of hydrocracking vacuum distillate

  • Published:
Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils Aims and scope

Summary

  1. 1.

In the decomposition of a heavy distillate feedstock in the process of hydrocracking, the path of the conversion reaction depends on the type of catalyst and the process regime and is practically independent of the process regime and the type of feedstock of a given distillation range.

  2. 2.

For the hydrocracking process a multistage scheme can be assumed, with primarily consecutive character of feedstock decompostion, especially when oxide catalysts are used.

  3. 3.

A concentration triangle is used successfully to ascertain the maximum possible yield of the valuable intermediate product and thus to predetermine the solution of the process optimization problem.
