Use of comparative calculation methods to generalize data on dynamic viscosity of hydrocarbons

  • Published:
Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils Aims and scope

Summary

  1. 1.

Comparative calculation methods have been used to generalize experimental data of [4] on hydrocarbon viscosity at high pressures and various temperatures.

  2. 2.

Comparative calculation methods have been applied to the viscosity at atmospheric pressure and critical temperature, the reduced viscosity at atmospheric pressure and reduced temperature, the excess viscosity, and the reduced viscosity at reduced pressures and temperatures. Empirical formulas suitable for practical application have been derived for these quantities.
