Summary
-
1.
The quality indicators for recirculation water in water supply systems operating at the 2.5% level of water consumption by blow-off should not exceed the standards indicated in Table 1.
-
2.
The most efficient method of reducing corrosion and scale formation in recirculation water systems is by treating it with inhibitors, and in particular with IKB-4 inhibitor.
-
3.
To ensure normal operation of heat-exchanger equipment it is necessary to include in the water units, in addition to charcoal and sand pressure filters, inhibitor and biocide units for treating the recirculation water with chlorine and copper sulfate.
