Conclusions

The use of a moving layer of NaX zeolite allows propylene to be obtained in concentrations of 99.5% and over.

The minimum height of the sections for this purpose are: adsorption 0.6 m, rectification 1.0 m, desorption 0.5 m.

The optimum conditions for the process are: adsorption temperature 20°C, desorption temperature ∼200°C, amount of adsorbent 20–40 kg/m3 propylene.

4.
The NaX zeolite's activity decreases slightly after the first 28 cycles,after which it becomes stabilized at a level equal to 84% of the initial activity.
