Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The method of measuring acoustic properties may be used not only for studying structure, but also for determining the phase content of titanium alloys.

     
  2. 2.

    The damping factor for ultrasonic vibrations and propagation rate for longitudinal ultrasonic waves in titanium alloys are governed by the degree of stability for β-phase as well as for α″ and ω-phases.
