Zusammenfassung
Ratten wurden subcutan an der Bauchdecke gleichzeitig Suspensionen von 10 mg Quarz, 10 mg Quarz mit bis zu 4% Zumischung von McIntyre-Aluminiumpulver und 1,5 mg McIntyre-Aluminiumpulver allein an getrennten Stellen injiziert.
In einer zweiten Versuchsreihe erhielten je eine Rattengruppe intratracheal 25 mg Quarz, 25 mg Quarz and 0,5% Zumischung von McIntyre-Aluminiumpulver and 25 mg McIntyre-Aluminiumpulver allein.
In einer dritten Versuchsreihe erhielten je eine Rattengruppe 100 mg Quarz, 100 mg Quarz mit 1 und 5% Zumischung von McIntyre-Aluminiumpulver und 100 mg McIntyre-Aluminiumpulver allein intra-peritoneal injiziert.
Die Versuchstiere warden nach 4, 6, 12, 24 und 36 Wochen Versuchszeit getötet und untersucht. Bei allen von uns angewendeten Applikationsarten ist die zeitliche und qualitative Entwicklung der Granulome der vergleichbaren Versuchsgruppen im wesentlichen gleich.
Quarz ruft nach 6 Monaten Versuchszeit eine ausgeprägte silikotische Gewebsreaktion hervor. Bei der intraperitonealen Injektion treten schon sehr frühzeitig Staubgranulome in der Leber auf.
Der Reifegrad der Quarzknoten mit Zusatz von McIntyre-Aluminiumpulver, insbesondere in einer Zumischung von 4 and 5%, ist etwas geringer als der refiner Quarzknoten, deutet aber eher auf eine zeitliche Verschiebung als auf eine grundsätzliche Hemmung der Quarzwirkung hin.
Das Aluminiumpulver allein ruft eine Fremdkörperreaktion hervor, wobei die am Versuchsende auftretenden kollagenen Fasern eine mögliche Weiterentwicklung andeuten.
