Zusammenfassung
Es wird ein kritischer Literaturüberblick über die Versuche zur Vereinfachung der Schorfesistenz-Prüfungsmethodik gegeben.
Bei diesen Versuchen wurde z. T. von einer verschieden modifizierten Infektion der Knollen oder anderer Organe der Kartoffelpflanze ausgegangen, wobei man das Gewächshaus bevorzugte. In anderen Fällen wurden Korrelationen zwischen Anfälligkeitsgrad und bestimmten anderen, anatomischen oder physiologischen Sortenmerkmalen zugrunde gelegt.
Wege zu einer Vereinfachung der Methodik, besonders auf der Grundlage der künstlichen Infektion, wurden damit gewiesen. Ob sich damit die für die endgültige Sortenbeurteilung übliche Feldprüfung völlig erübrigt, bleibt jedoch noch dahingestellt.
Es wurden ferner die in den Untersuchungsergebnissen über die Schorfursache für die Prüfungsmethodik liegenden Möglichkeiten erörtert.
Ob und weiweit bei der Resistenzprüfung unter deutschen Verhältnissen einer physiologischen Spezialisierung des Schorferregers Rechnung getragen werden muß, läßt sich auf Grund der Literatur zur Zeit noch nicht entscheiden.
