Abstract

New compounds — podands and cryptands with two secondary sulfonamide groups —have been synthesized and are described. They were tested as ionophores for guanidinium ions in PVC-membrane electrodes with bis (2-ethylhexyl)sebacate (DOS) as plasticizer.
