Conclusions

  1. 1.

In considering kinetics for bond formation between fiber and matrix in a macroscopic aspect, it is necessary to consider the simultaneous nature of all stages of this process.

  2. 2.

Calculated dependences proposed make it possible to determine separately the time for physical contact formation, and the time for bond formation between fiber and matrix.

  3. 3.

In order to determine the overall duration of the bonding process, it is necessary in each specific case of compacting FCM to carry out detailed studies of physicochemical phenomena at the completion stage of the bonding process in an interval determined by the dependences proposed (tc−tb), i.e., the instant of completing physical contact formation, activation of the bonding surfaces, and the start of volumetric interaction between the materials being bonded.
