A pyroelectric radiation detector operating near its Curie point

Abstract

The thermodynamic theory of ferroelectric crystals is applied to give expressions for the volt-watt response and limit of detection, with allowance for the temperature coefficients of the dielectric constant and pyroelectric coefficient.
