Additional information
In 1972, Dr. Visotsky was Chairman of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Northwestern University Medical School, and Director of the Institute of Psychiatry at Northwestern Memorial Hospital; he served in these two positions until 1991. He is presently Owen L. Coon Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, Northwestern University Medical School. Dr. Visotsky is also director of the Asher Center for the Study of Depressive Disorders; Senior Consultant to the Center for Mental Health and Psychiatric Services of the American Hospital Association; and a member of the IBM Mental Health Advisory Board.
