Conclusions

  1. 1.

    Diffusion chromizing of self-aligning bearings of steels ShKh15 and 95Kh18 enhances wear resistance and corrosion resistance of these steels.

     
  2. 2.

    Diffusion chromizing makes it possible to replace stainless steel 95Kh18 by the relatively cheap steel ShKh15 with better operational properties obtained after chromizing.
