Abstract
Pibal ascents were taken every three hours at a coastal station, Sriharikota (India) on the east coast in four different campaigns each representing a season in India. A diurnal pattern of winds in the PBL winds was found in all seasons but the pattern varies from season to season. The details are described and discussed.
