Boriding of technological apparatus with pastes

Conclusions

Boriding with pastes permits local saturation of working elements of parts with negligible expenditure of the saturating mixture, combined boriding and quenching, and saturation in furnaces without a protective atmosphere. The service life of hot working dies, inserts, and other tools increases by a factor of 1.5–3 or more.
