Conclusions
Use of scanning electron microscopy for fractographic analysis of cast articles made of aluminum alloys made it possible to determine the reason for article failure, i.e., initial defects of the crystallization-crack type or burning, and also to establish the connection between their structure and the level of mechanical properties.
