Zusammenfassung
An neun Versuchspersonen unterschiedlicher Leistungsfähigkeit wurde das Verhalten der arteriellen CO2-Spanmmg und der arteriell-endexspiratorischen CO2-Spannungsdifferenz während schrittweise bis zur Grenze der Leistungsfähigkeit gesteigerter Belastung untersucht.
In Abhängigkeit von der Arbeitsschwere wurden dabei anfangs leicht ansteigende, bei schwerer Belastung jedoch deutlich absinkende arterielle CO2-Spannungen gemessen, die 15 min nach Arbeitsende einen meist unter dem Ausgangswert gelegenen Tiefstwert erreichten.
Auf Grund der bei Arbeit viel stärkeren Zunahme der endexspiratorischen PCO2-Werte lagen diese insbesondere bei den leistungsfähigeren Versuchspersonen über den arteriell gemessenen Spannungen.
Die Logarithmen der aus beiden Größen errechneten Werte der alveolaren Ventilation standen bei allen Versuchspersonen in enger linearer Beziehung zur Belastung. Darüber hinaus erwies sich die Zunahme der alveolaren Ventilation unter Arbeit als gutes Kriterium für die Beurteilung der individuellen Leistungsfähigkeit.
Die möglichen Gründe für das Verhalten der arteriellen und end-exspiratorischen CO2-Spannungen bei Arbeit werden diskutiert.
