Abstract
We describe experimental studies to investigate the parameters of a compact high-power Nd: glass laser. The laser consists of a mode-locked oscillator with negative feedback (τ=1.4ps), a Q-switched pre-amplifier with an amplification factor of 5×108, and multiple stage amplifiers using a chirped pulse amplification compression technique.
