Abstract
IR and UV spectroscopic studies of dinitramide have shown that in the covalent state it exists as two forms. In one of these forms, the proton is bound to the central nitrogen atom (HN(NO2)2). In the other form, the proton is equally bound to the two oxygen atoms of both nitro groups.
