Conclusions
-
1.
The new precipitation-hardening spring alloy 70NKhBMYu has a high ductility in the quenched condition, making it possible to manufacture elastic elements of complex shape by cold die stamping. After aging, the alloy has high mechanical properties, particularly the elastic limit.
-
2.
The high relaxation resistance of the alloy at 500–550°C makes it possible to recommend it for prolonged operation at these temperatures in the form of elastic sensing elements.
-
3.
The hardening of the alloy results from decomposition of the supersaturated solid solution with precipitation of finely dispersed phase of the Ni3Nb type.
