Erfahrungen mit lokaler Cortisontherapie

Zusammenfassung

Es wird eine kurze Übersicht über die allgemeinen und experimentellen Grundlagen der Cortisontherapie gegeben.

Die lokale Cortisonbehandlung (subconjunctivale Injektionen und Augensalbe) wurde bei 73 Patienten durchgeführt. Gute, zum Teil schlagartige Erfolge wurden vor allem bei entzündlichen Hornhauterkrankungen und bei Iridocyclitis beobachtet.

Weitere Indikationen werden an Hand der Literatur besprochen.
