Primäres Sarkom der Iris

Zusammenfassung

Die Verfasser beschreiben eingehend die Krankengeschichte einer jungen, 20 jährigen Patientin, bei welcher als Folge einer, übrigens unbedeutenden Verletzung auf der Vorderseite der Iris des rechten Auges eine durchsichtige, mit feinen Gefäßen versehene, cystöse Neubildung in Erscheinung trat. Der Tumor war von Augenhypertension begleitet und wurde mittels weitangelegter Iridektomie entfernt. Sehvermögen normal.

Eine anatomisch-pathologische Untersuchung hat ergeben, daß es sich um ein primäres Irissarkom handelte, welches aus Spindelzellen mit eiförmigem Kern bestand, die wirbelförmig, in Bündel angeordnet waren; dieselben waren auf dem Wege, in Melanom verwandelt zu werden.

Es werden die Schwierigkeiten der Diagnosestellung sowie das therapeutische Verhalten bei diesen Tumoren erörtert; dieses muß, falls der Tumor nicht allzu ausgedehnt ist, konservativ sein, wobei die Entfernung des Neoplasmas bei Erhaltung des Augapfels anzustreben ist.
