Magnetic susceptibility and collisionless spin waves in liquid3He and3He-4He mixtures

Abstract

The transverse spin susceptibility for a Fermi liquid in a uniform magnetic field is calculated in the collisionless regime using the Landau theory of Fermi liquids. The singularities corresponding to the l=0 and l=1 spin waves are investigated in pure and dilute3He as a function of the wave vector q up to the threshold of the Landau damping.
