Size effect in the hall coefficient of aluminum single crystals

Abstract

Hall coefficients of five aluminum single crystals were measured. A noticeable size effect was observed when l>d, where l is the mean free path andd the sample thickness. A 4-OPW calculation of the Hall coefficient is performed and shown to agree fairly well with the experiment.
