Effect of metallurgical slags on the cohesive strength of undercoat enamels and steel

Abstract

The possibility of using metallurgical slags as a complex additive in frit melting and as an additive in enamel slip milling is investigated. The optimum amount of slag positively affecting the cohesive strength of undercoat vitreous enamels and substrates is determined.
