Abstract
For the first time an analytical dependence is derived for the integral efficiency of glass tempering, which makes it possible to analyze the power (heat) consumption in the production of flat and bend glasses. The possibility of thermomechanical strengthening of thin and superthin glasses with the help of liquid tempering is shown, in particular, for cooling ferromagnetic liquids.
