Conclusions

  1. 1.

We investigated the strength, electrical resistivity, density, and corrosion rate of vanadium-titanium alloys in a series of organic and inorganic acids at different temperatures.

  2. 2.

Anomalous changes in the electrical resistivity and strength characteristics were noted in the region of dilute solid solutions of vanadium, which are due to the presence of interstitial impurities in alloys of this system.

  3. 3.

We determined the region of composition for alloys with a low corrosion rate (<0.1 mm/year) and high strength and ductility, which makes these alloys promising as corrosion-resistant materials.
