Abstract

The possibility of obtaining stone castings from flame-running slag from the blast furnaces of the Cherepovetsk Metallugical Plant is considered. Three compositions of charges based on slag are chosen. Experimental melting of the suggested compositions was conducted and specimens of slagstone castings were obtained for different temperature and time conditions. Their physicochemical properties are described.
