(2,0) Heterotic superstring with Wess-Zumino coupling

Abstract

By means of the identity operator and vertex operator technique, reparametrization invariance and BRST symmetry are proven for the heterotic string with Wess-Zumino term coupling the fiber bundle. The motion space of the string is assumed to be a direct productM d G of a Minkowski spaceM d of dimensiond with an intrinsic group manifoldG of dimensiond G , and turns out to give the critical dimension.
