Die Lymphographie beim Genitalcarcinom der Frau

Übersicht über ihre Möglichkeiten

Zusammenfassung

Ungeachtet des rein wissenschaftlichen Wertes, den die Lymphographie für die Erforschung der Anatomie und Dynamik des Lymphsystems bietet, wurde eine Übersicht über ihre klinischen Anwendungsmöglichkeiten als erweiterte diagnostische Untersuchungsmethode beim Genitalcarcinom der Frau gegeben. Das Interesse galt dabei folgenden Fragen:

  1. 1.

    Ausschluß von Lymphknotenmetastasen bei Carcinomen der verschiedensten klinischen Stadien.

  2. 2.

    Aufdeckung („Früherkennung“) von Lymphknotenmetastasen ohne klinischen Verdacht.

  3. 3.

    Bestätigung von klinischem Metastasenverdacht und Präzisierung der Lokalisation und Ausdehnung.

  4. 4.

    Aufdeckung und Ausschluß von Carcinom-Rezidiven.

  5. 5.

    Kontrolle operativer und konservativer Carcinom-Therapie.

Auf die Bedeutung der Lymphographie für Prognostik und Therapie der Carcinome wurde besonders hingewiesen.
