Nachweis und Charakterisierung von löslichen Antigenen in der menschlichen Placenta

Detection and characterization of soluble antigens in the human placenta

Summary

In aqueous extracts from human placentas at least ten different soluble antigens which seem to originate from the placental tissue can be detected. In the present paper six of these placental proteins are described and characterized by their immunochemical and physico-chemical properties. One of these antigens is identical with the fibrin stabilizing factor from human placentas. The biological function of the other proteins ist not yet known.

Zusammenfassung

Der wäßrige Extrakt aus menschlichen Placenten enthält mindestens zehn verschiedene lösliche Antigene, die aus dem Gewebe der Placenta stammen. Sechs dieser Placentaproteine werden in der vorliegenden Arbeit immunologisch und physikalisch-chemisch näher charakterisiert. Eines dieser Antigene ist mit dem fibrinstabilisierenden Faktor der menschlichen Placenta identisch. Die biologische Funktion der anderen Proteine ist noch unbekannt.
