Aluminum plating with flux-free pastes

Conclusions

  1. 1.

    The process developed for aluminum plating of stainless and heat-resisting steels and alloys with flux-free pastes produces a high quality diffusion coating up to 100 μ thick at temperatures of 800–950°C.

     
  2. 2.

    Fatigue tests and long-term strength tests of aluminum-plated samples showed that aluminum plating with pastes has bo effect on the fatigue strength of the material.
