Zusammenfassung
Die subcelluläre Lokalisation und die spezifische Aktivität der LAP, Kathepsin-B und Kathepsin-D wurde in den durch Differentialzentrifugierung hergestellten Zellfraktionen der unreifen und reifen Placenta untersucht.

a)
Die Hälfte der Gesamtaktivität von LAP befindet sich im Cytoplasma und ihre andere Hälfte verteilt sich in den partikulären Fraktionen sowohl in der jungen als auch in der reifen Placenta. Die spezifische Aktivität der LAP ist wesentlich höher in den Mitochondrien- und Mikrosomenfraktionen der Termin-, als in den entsprechenden Fraktionen der jungen Placenta, obwohl die spezifischen Aktivitäten der Gesamthomogenate fast identisch sind.

b)
Die Lokalisation und die spezifische Aktivität von Kathepsin-B und Kathepsin-D verändert sich während der Tragzeit. Am Ende der Tragzeit verlagert sich ein Teil von beiden Enzym-Aktivitäten aus den partikulären Fraktionen ins Cytoplasma. Die spezifischen Aktivitäten des Homogenats und der partikulären Fraktionen sind in der Terminplacenta wesentlich niedriger als in der jungen Placenta.
Es ist anzunehmen, daß die Lokalisations- und Aktivitätsveränderungen der Kathepsin-B und Kathepsin-D mit der Schädigung der Lysosomen in einem engen Zusammenhang stehen können.
Es wurde die Rolle der Alterungsprozesse der Placenta in der Schädigung der Lysosomen diskutiert.
