Conclusions
-
1.
The high-temperature tempering brittleness of the 26KhN3M2FA steel is due to the formation of carbide M23C6 during tempering and the accompanying depletion of the solid solution of steel by alloying elements (chromium, molybdenum, carbon).

2.
To obtain the minimum half-brittleness temperature of the 26KhN3M2FA steel specimens, the ratio of carbides M3C and M7C3 in their structure should be approximately 3∶1.
