Conclusions

  1. 1.

Comparison of cooling capacities with jets of different designs reveals the technological qualities of flat and round tapering jets. The concentration of maximum cooling rates in the center of the spray and gradual decrease toward the edge permit uniform cooling with groups of such jets.

  2. 2.

We found a quantitative dependence of the heat transfer coefficient on the geometrical parameters of the system. The heat exchange equations obtained in dimensionless form can be used for thermotechnical calculations in sprayer cooling.
