1.
C−C−T diagrams were plotted for carbonitrided steels 25KhGT and 25KhGM by using interrupted quenching of end-quench samples. This method makes it possible to determine the kinetics of decomposition of supercooled austenite during cooling specified for treatment in mass production.

2.
C−C−T diagrams plotted by this method make it possible to select the steel and also the parameters of chemicothermal treatment and the cooling rate for machine parts.
