Metal Science and Heat Treatment Aims and scope

Conclusions

Grain-oriented silicon iron with 3% Si, 0.007% C, and 0.003% N that is stretched during annealing has a high susceptibility to magnetic aging. The magnetic aging factor is determined by the heating time and the deformation of the strip in the process of annealing.
