Conclusions

Sensitizing at 600–650°C for 3–10 h for stress relief after welding does not induce susceptibility to ICC in standard tests in sulfuric acid solution.

Heating of weldments inchemical apparatus made of steel Kh18N10T operating in weakly corrosive media does not sensitize the steel.
