Zusammenfassung
Ein kurzer Überblick über das Sektionswesen und die gerichtlichmedizinischen Verhältnisse in USA. im Vergleich zu entsprechenden Einrichtungen in Mitteleuropa wurde gegeben. Vieles ist sicher verbesserungsbedürftig. Die Schwierigkeiten der Ersetzung des Coroner-Systems durch ein modernes M.E.-System, wie es in einigen Staaten und Städten der USA. besteht, wurden dargelegt.
