Conclusions

  1. 1.

Data were obtained on gas absorption in autovacuum heating with powdered Mg, Ti, Zr, Nb, and V and Ti shavings.

  2. 2.

It was found that it is possible to use sorbents for bright annealing, quenching, and tempering.

  3. 3.

By selection of the sorbent and the amount of it used it is possible to control the pressure in a sealed container or inside a part.

  4. 4.

The use of autovacuum heating for complex parts reduces deformation and the danger of cracking during heat treatment.
